There are two questions we get often from new clients and they are:
Where do I begin when booking a session? And should I book a private session or a group class?
To help you we recommend you take advantage of the New Client Special that we offer all new clients. This is a package of four 60 minute private 1:1 sessions with a full intake/assessment/and postural analysis.
Some cases are more complex than others, meaning if you have significant injuries or limitations or you have been referred to us by physical therapy, you’ll want to start with purchasing the special.
If you have Pilates experience, but do not have experience in the reformer order on a Gratz machine, you’ll also want to start with the special as well.
The work we teach here at GRP is the work that was handed down by Joseph Pilates. It is his system of exercises that we teach and is used to help balance your body so that you can do and be all the things you wish for outside of the studio!
All of our group equipment classes require experience. All clients learn in a private session the exercises so that Gretchen can watch you move and make the best recommendations for the work and how it should be done in your body. Progress to group classes is very individual and definitely encouraged when a client feels strong enough to advance.
